A silent auction to benefit a local nonprofit was the highlight of the night, but Interchanges Events still brought the noise at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront.
Live music, appetizers and a cash bar were more than enough to keep the crowd of around 200 business networkers entertained while the silent auction to benefit local nonprofit Family Foundations proceeded in the background.
A first for Interchanges Events, the silent auction and its proceeds will benefit Family Foundations’ 1,000 in 1,000 program, which aims to move 1,000 people out of poverty in 1,000 days. The program works to help families build assets to move to a life of self-sufficiency.
A special thanks to Martha Cox, Vice President of Family Foundations, and Sam Mocas, Director of Human Resources at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. Without their help an event of this caliber would have been nearly impossible to pull off on our own.
UP NEXT
Our next event has yet to be finalized, but you can bet after the success of this event we will be returning to the downtown area in the near future. Follow Interchanges on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay up-to-date on all the latest networking event news.
